We’re packing up this wardrobe wagon and heading West to Arizona for our first-ever appearance at Art of the Cowgirl!

Now in its 8th year, Art of the Cowgirl is an annual event that offers a unique, interactive experience that showcases the work and skills of some of the country’s talented cowgirls, from artists and artisans to renowned horsewomen. While this week-long event is what most people think of when they hear ‘Art of the Cowgirl’, it’s actually one part of a larger initiative, a mission to uplift and support emerging artists in the Western genre.

“At the heart of our mission is the Fellowship Program,” states their website. “Which funds mentorships between up-and-coming artists and master makers—silversmiths, braiders, saddle makers, horsewomen, and more—ensuring these traditional trades are passed on with excellence. Each event showcases the incredible talents of cowgirl makers while honoring the women who continue to shape and preserve Western culture. We invite you to join us as we celebrate their artistry, grit, and legacy.”

Needless to say, we’re honored to be a part of this elite group.

“It’s not just a pay-to-play pop-up,” Cheryl said. “We had to submit a pretty involved application, complete with an essay, to be considered for a spot. We’re proud to be participants this year, and we can’t wait to see how it goes. If anyone is in the area, come see us!”

Art of the Cowgirl 2026 takes place February 24th through 28th at Rancho Rio and features multi-day competitions, workshops, and cultural experiences. There are vendors, sure, but also workshops and clinics, a ranch rodeo, and an elite horse sale. You can find us in Booth 69.
