You don’t have to own a horse, actually, to be a horse girl. If you’re not one yourself, you probably knew one at some point in your life; the girls who are always reading about them, daydreaming of them, doodling them. They can work horses into any conversation. It truly becomes their personality; it’s one of the first things you’ll ever learn about them upon meeting.
And here’s the thing: it might’ve been pejorative for a period of time, but we’re here to take back the term ‘horse girls’ for the badge of honor it really is. We challenge you to find anyone as devoted to anything. In fact, there’s been a whole recent movement about #horsegirlenergy, and it’s intended as a compliment to one’s commitment, determination, and dedication to a specific dream – and their relentless willingness to work for it.
So, let’s hear it for the horse girls.
