Last stop on memory lane: Taos. We’ve taken you down to Matagorda County, up to Wyoming, and east to Music City, and now we’re headed to the Land of Enchantment, to a place that has a truly special place in our hearts and our history.
Going on this journey with y’all, through our 30th Anniversary collections, has been an emotional experience for us. It’s made us nostalgic; it’s made us both proud and humble; and above all, it’s made us immensely grateful for all of you – the amazing women we’ve met and have been by our side along the way. Some of you have been with us since the very beginning, since that very first batch of blanket coats, the inspiration for which came from – you guessed it – Taos. It felt appropriate to end the ‘I Go Back’ collections right where we started.
The Taos collection is about so much more than blanket coats, though! It’s a strong nod to a fashion icon we have admired as far back as we can remember; a timeless classic beauty who redefined style and reimagined accessorizing; the one and only, Millicent Rogers. It celebrates her classic blouses, her vision for velvet, and her unrivaled love for statement Southwestern jewelry. The colors are rich, the fabrics are luxurious, and the jewelry is over-the-top. Everything about the Taos collection feels upscale elegant – fit for an heiress with Southwestern style!
Tune in Thursday, November 19, at 7:30 p.m. (central) for a Facebook Live line launch of the Taos Collection with all the commentary and comedy you’ve come to expect from the McMullen sisters! Don’t forget to RSVP to the Facebook event to be entered in the drawing to win all sorts of Double D goodies and make sure you tune in because you MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN! See y’all then!

Dear DDR Team, Looking forward to upcoming Taos collection. The gorgeous blouse that Kaylin Rogers is wearing…is it featured in the Taos Collection or is it her own? Due to my schedule with my real estate investment business, I don’t use social media so I’ll wait to watch the video presentation on your website.
