Whew! What a week we had in Vegas!

Audrey, Cheryl, and Hedy in the Double D Ranch booth at the 2026 Run for a Million.

This year, for the first time ever, we participated in The Run For A Million event in Las Vegas. It’s considered “the richest event in the history of reining, and the most exciting and thrilling week in cow horse and cutting.”

“We grew up a quarter horse family,” explained Audrey. “And of course, rodeos were always a given, but this was really our first foray into the cutting horse sector. It’s a captivating event, and naturally, it’s full of our kind of people. A lot of beautiful Western fashion. We were thrilled to meet so many new faces!”

People come from all over the country – and outside of it – to attend The Run For A Million. We had customers from California, Idaho, Australia, Oregon, Colorado, Vermont, Montana, and Mexico stop by the booth, several of whom were getting an in-person introduction to Double D Ranch for the first time.

We were also visited by Kylie Kaufmann and her friend Elizabeth Quirk, who was representing the Ten/27 Ranch in the Non Pro Cutting Horse Challenge, which was a lovely encounter and made it fun to have someone we now knew personally to root for in the event.

As always, our team did an extraordinary job setting up a stunning booth at South Point to give newcomers and familiar faces alike a miniature taste of the Double D Ranch experience. We’re extremely pleased with how it went – we plan to be back!
