There are two things we tend to find ourselves doing when the calendar rolls over to a new year: looking forward and looking back. After the last couple of years, we’re a little nervous to make ambitious resolutions or bold predictions for the year ahead of us – don’t want to jinx it! – but looking back over the most read/most commented on blogs of 2021 brings a big ol’ smile to our face. In a year that felt really weird, we actually had a lot of fun, got to celebrate and introduce you to some miraculous women, and achieved one of our long-time goals of becoming members of the ATADA. Here is a round-up of our most viewed, most commented on, and most engaged with blog posts of 2021.

Announcing our ATADA Membership

Acceptance into Authentic Tribal Arts Dealers Association is not only an honor, but also serves as a layer of accountability; a system to ensure that we are doing right by every artisan we work with and every item we acquire. This is a big deal for us, and we’re thrilled to be a part of the organization.

Fashion is strongly shifting towards the “wear what makes you happy” mentality, and we gotta say: we are so here for it.
