2023 ADDICTION PARTY: WHAT, WHEN, WEAR

Hey, have we mentioned we’re having a party? Does it seem like we might be just a little bit excited about it? WELL, WE ARE – AND YOU SHOULD BE, TOO! Some of you gorgeous gals are old hat at this by now, but if you’re embarking on the Annual Addiction Party adventure for the first time, here’s a rundown of what you can expect on this year’s agenda!

THE WHAT:

Well, you already know – it’s the Annual Addiction Meetup at the Mothership! It’s four days of fun and fashion in the heart of downtown Yoakum, Texas. Our amazing party-planning committee has organized an awesome line-up of events for each day (see below), from the opening of the doors on Wednesday, July 26th, until the “family” photo (that means all y’all!) and champagne toast on Saturday, July 30th. You’ll get to spend some time with the Sisters (and Nana!), meet your fellow DDR Addicts, and enjoy lots of laughs, lunch Wed-Fri and snacks on Saturday, and everyone’s favorite part: absolutely unbelievable sale prices you can only score in-store! [Seriously, ask some of the gals who’ve been before about the amazing deals and steals under the tent!]

THE WHEN & [WHAT TO] WEAR:

Like we said, this year’s schedule is stacked with awesome events and opportunities to make friends – and memories! Here’s a snapshot of what you can expect, in addition to shopping and sales at the showroom each day.

WEDNESDAY: DESERT DARLINGS – Come decked out in your Desert Desperados!
Join us at 6 p.m. at Vallarta’s for a fun gathering and group dinner accompanied by some live music from the ultra-talented Ulmer duo, 2Country4Nashville.

THURSDAY: THE KID’S GOT STYLE – Bring your baddest self in Billy the Kid!
Jumpstart your day with a Wellness Walk at 7 a.m. (of course, this is optional, but your reward is feeling good, a fun DDR water bottle, and a yummy healthy breakfast!). At 4 p.m., snag some popcorn and a seat at the Grand Theater for a private screening of our inspiration for the collection, the cowboy classic Young Guns, followed by a fun food truck dinner and some good old-fashioned BINGO – for real prizes!

FRIDAY: COSMIC COWGIRLS – Show off your out-of-this-world outfits from Throwback to the Future!
Get moving and grooving at 7 a.m. with Mobility & Stretching led by Whitney Boone! After shopping, get ready for BBQ and boot-scootin’ from 7-10 p.m. at the Sweet Home Dance Hall. Be sure to doll up in your DDR best because we’ll have an extra-awesome photobooth this year. Oh, and we might have a little surprise in store to get ya out on the dancefloor!

SATURDAY: WATCH ME SIP, WATCH ME NEIGH NEIGH – Head to the Mothership in your Hay Babies best!

Time for a toast! Make sure you’ve made it to the Mothership by 11 a.m. as we raise our glasses for the annual champagne cheers to the amazing women of Addiction and another year of y’all keeping this dream alive for all of us at DDR. Immediately after the toast, we’ll herd everybody outside to snap the world’s largest “family” photo – it’s such a sweet (and surreal) snapshot of this super-cool y’all community and how it continues to grow year after year. But don’t sneak off just yet – this is your once-a-year opportunity to have your favorite jacket signed by Cheryl McMullen herself!
