Wanderlust is a powerful thing.

It’s an innate force that courses within you. It’s a longing to roam and run without restraint. It’s a spirit strong and wild and free. Like wild horses.

The desire to go, do, and see has been a source of design inspiration in many of DDR’s collections and it persists into the 2022 Come Away With Me collections, a series of spring and summer designs influenced not so much by the placeswe want to go, but the kind of travel we daydream about.

The first iteration, Wild Horses, was sparked by the inherent uninhibitedness that wild horses embody, that spirit that compels the likes of Garth Brooks and the Rolling Stones to sing songs about them; it channels that yearning to immerse yourself entirely in nature and break the ties that bind you, to roam without restriction or responsibility. (C’mon, we all fantasize about it from time to time.) Wild Horses is a seasonless collection, featuring strong saturated oranges balanced with bold turquoises and complemented with the gorgeous greens that have been pervasive in recent seasons. It celebrates the unbridled beauty of an unbroken horse in both pattern and print, pays tribute to our family’s long held belief in the luck of a horseshoe (turned right side up, of course), and showcases the talent of our collaborating artist, Peggy Judy.

The term “wild horses” evokes a certain image and emotion, one of freedom, tenacity, and a life without limits. May we all greet the new year with that same strength of spirit, that relentless passion, that resistance to being broken. We’re all wild horses at heart.

Love when beautiful women dress up as cowboys , especially fancy outfits worn by Tom Mix, Gene Autry & Roy Rogers . Wished Dale Evans wore less split riding skirts but worn fancy cowboy pants like Roy Rogers !

You should never let anyone dull your sparkle, but when it comes to fashion, it’s ok to take it down a notch.

As much as we’re loving lavender in apparel, we’re really digging it in accessories! An unexpected pop of purple can really take your look to the next level.

We’ve just turned the calendar page, we’re in our second month of 2023, the new has worn off of New Year’s Resolutions, and it’s so easy to slip back into the comfortability of your status quo. We’re challenging you not to.
