Our handbags have a whole grip on the Southwestern-style special occasion, from our hand-beaded beauties with bamboo handles to our luxe redux upcycled pocketbooks.
Now we’re getting in on the everyday accessory game!

“You know, the little longhorn bag was a huge hit, because it’s the perfect size for just your phone, a few cards, and your lipstick,” Cheryl said. “It’s a great evening bag. The bamboo handle bags, they’re definitely couture vibes with a cowgirl spin; they hold a little more, but they’re still something you bust out when you want to show off. Same with the vintage pocketbooks we embellished with the fur and buckles. They’re all fabulous – conversation-starters and complement-getters! – but they’re probably not going to be your grab-and-go daily purse, which everybody needs.”

~ Cue these custom leather creations! ~

“This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time,” Cheryl said. “It’s based on inspiration from vintage bags we have in our archives. We’ve made three silhouettes – well, two-and-a-half, I guess, two shapes but three sizes – one stirrup style, then one mini feedbag and one larger feedbag.”

“They’re made of Argentinian leather, and they’re all hand-tooled,” added Hedy, the queen of DDR details. “They all come in this tan leather, but only the stirrup comes in black.”

“Yes, they’re all hand-tooled, hand-laced,” Cheryl continued. “They’ve got these great drawstring closures with the signature D cinch, and on the side, we’ve added these cool custom charms – a D charm, a long-bar logo, and a little brass star. And they all have this long strap, and it’s adjustable, so you can fit it to you to wear as a shoulder bag or maybe even a crossbody, especially with the stirrup style.”

Ok, gals – which one is gonna be your go-to?!
