“This is a coming together of two things that really intrigued us when we were overseas,” Cheryl said. “One, was the bamboo handles. I swear, every purse Presley picked up or commented on had some sort of novelty handle, so that really stuck with me as an aesthetic. The other was getting to spend time with the beautiful and talented people who do this remarkable beadwork; not only getting to watch – just totally in awe – as they worked, but also getting to see first-hand the impact it makes on their lives when we provide them work, so we knew we wanted to do even more with them. When we got back to the drawing table, I married those two things.”
