Settle in for the style story behind this cheeky little chaparral.

It all started one day in the quaint little antique town of Round Top, Texas, where (as most of you know) we’ve been spending quite a lot of our time lately. Now, no matter the mission we’re on or the task at hand, Cheryl always has one eye out for inspiration. Well, if you’re familiar with Round Top, you know that on a good day, you can find just about anything you’re looking for and a whole lot of things you didn’t even know you wanted. Like a sculpture of chaparral.

Cheryl spotted it and immediately thought to herself, “That sure would make a cute boot.” So, she designed it into one, in a pretty pale pink, with the roadrunner’s tail feathers extending up the pull tabs for that little something extra. It’s as cute as it sounds. And wouldn’t ya know, that rascally little roadrunner just kept skittering about in her mind’s eye until it found its way onto a jacket. And a tee, and a poncho, and a purse. (Which, insider fun fact, isn’t the normal order of things; usually an image starts on a jacket and finds its way down to the boot!)
