Collection accessories, like everything else, are intentional.
We spend a year, sometimes longer, collecting – picking through flea markets, vendors’ baskets at antique shows, online auctions – all the fun places you might find a piece of treasure.
“It might be the best part of the job!” laughed Cheryl. “It was a favorite hobby long before it became part of my livelihood, so I’ve had decades of practice. And I do think it’s a very important part of curating a collection – it’s the dazzle, it’s the finishing touch, it’s the little things that pull a look together – but man, do I enjoy the thrill of the hunt!”
Some are vintage and valuable, like authentic postal carrier bags, and some are contemporary and kitschy, like enamel flag pins and buckles. Take your pick!
