Margie’s Meeting a Milestone: The Big 8-0

You wouldn’t know by looking at her, but our beautiful, sweet momma turns 80 years young tomorrow!

We can’t say enough about the steadfast matriarch of this wild bunch, but we can say, without reservation, that we absolutely wouldn’t be where we are now without her; without her unconditional love, unwavering support, and unyielding belief in us and our vision, even with our backs against the ropes; without her soft-spoken suggestion when she sensed we might be veering off course. She instilled in us a wisdom to surround ourselves with people who make us better, a fighting spirit – the competitive nature in us is a strong one, y’all! – and an understanding that family will outlast any endeavor and is to be cherished and protected above all else. She has modeled to us faith, goodwill, and self-sacrifice. She has shown us what it means to be good Christians, good women, and good mothers. Her capacity for love is endless; with the addition of every grandchild and great-grandchild, Nana’s heart just grows and grows, and she’s at her happiest in their presence.

What do you get the woman who means everything and asks for nothing? You celebrate her. So that’s what we’re doing, and we want you to be a part of it.

For the next five days, we’re going to be showcasing some of Nana’s favorite Double D items, and then deeply discounting them -- more than 80 different items! (Get it? 80 for her 80th.) But it’s a little trickier – and more fun! – than that. Twice a day, every morning at 10 a.m. CST and then alternating days at 2 p.m. (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 7 p.m. (Tuesday, Thursday), we’re going LIVE on Facebook for these “Surprise Flash Sales”, where we will introduce a group of items, and then we will make them live on the site for purchase, but ONLY for 8 minutes and then they’ll disappear again – so tune in and have your trigger finger ready!*
