The Born on the Bayou collection has brought the Deep South to the mainstream and been stealing hearts all over the country.

Part feminine, part feisty; part flora, part fauna; there’s a little something for every aesthetic. Now we’re adding an element of fun to it!

The Bayou activation event sticks with the swampy theme of the collection, and it channels the fun (and sometimes frustration) of fishing. Here’s how it works:

When you purchase $750 or more of Born on the Bayou apparel at any of our three locations – the Mothership in Yoakum, the flagship store in Fort Worth, or the mercantile in Round Top – you’ll have the opportunity to fish through a tacklebox to pick your lucky lure. Then you’ll take it to the counter to see if the number attached to your lure is a winner. (Not all of them are, but hey, taking home new DDR is always a win!) Each winning number is attached to a particular category – like scarves, socks, and so on – so if your lure is a lucky one, you’ll get to select your choice from that category.

And guess what? Even if you don’t win, you still get to take home a super-cute commemorative alligator pin just for playing!
