FW EVENT UPDATE: GET YOUR BOOT(IE)S ON THE DANCE FLOOR!

Tickets have been live on the site for a little over a week, and as predicted, the Tanya Tucker Experience sold out in record time – like SECONDS – but y’all we’ve still got some spectacular seats available! Wecan’t stress it enough just what a fun night this is going to be! We thought it might help

“Here’s the thing, we talk about these events SO much internally,” Mitchell said. “We brainstorm and concept and workshop and revisit each event, every element, multiple times within our team. So, we get really familiar with it and it’s easy to forget our Wolf Pack is hearing it for the first time, and we leave out some pertinent details that really paint the picture of what we’re doing and what they’re getting, ya know?”

We’re going to do our best to answer some FAQs and clear up a couple things and generally get y’all as jazzed up as we are about this first-ever Fort Worth fete! (We’re resisting the urge to call it “first annual” because Audrey says we can’t commit to making it a yearly spectacle until we know how this one goes – so y’all better show up and show out and help us make our case!)

FIRST AND FOREMOST, ‘GENERAL ADMISSION’ MIGHT BE MISLEADING.

We kind of dropped the ball on getting creative with naming the ticket levels, and in hindsight, some of the questions that have come in regarding tickets made us realize we might want to reconsider that term. General Admission makes you picture lawn seats, standing room only, or nosebleeds. WRONG. Folks, these are FLOOR SEATS! You’re going to be right there next to the stage, actually closer than those in VIP. Unfortunately, we don’t have good visuals to share of the Tannahills space, but you’re going to basically be front and center with only a couple hundred people – think about it, that’s fewer than some folks have at their wedding! Not only that, but your ticket also gets you dinner and drinks and a fashion show – AND A SWAG BAG! (We really, really want to tell you what’s in it, but we promised we wouldn’t.) So, if you’ve been sleeping on these seats because ‘general admission’ doesn’t sound super-sexy, time to reconsider!

WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO SCORE YOU A DEAL ON YOUR OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS.

We originally negotiated a discounted rate with a couple hotels in the area, the Courtyard Marriott and the Springhill Suites. Unfortunately, those rates have technically expired (it’s TX/OU weekend over in Dallas, so room real estate is in high demand, and they couldn’t hold it for us forever) which means we can’t simply provide you a link to book it. BUT we have established a rapport with these places and if you contact us at addiction@ddranchwear.com, we will do our best to find a workaround on your behalf – we would hate for this to be the reason you miss out on an unforgettable event!

YOUR SWAG BAG IS TIED TO YOUR TANYA TUCKER TICKET.

You are more than welcome to just join us Friday night for the rodeo or Saturday for the toast and the 2Country4Nashville concert or the nondenominational service on Sunday – or any combo of the above – but the ONLY way to score a swag bag is with a ticket to the Thursday night Tanya Tucker concert. Just want to make sure that part was clear, because it’s been asked.

YES, YOUR DDR-LOVIN’ DUDES ARE WELCOME!

Bring on those boys! We’d love to have your SOs, your sons, your guy BFFs – any-and-everybody who enjoys a lil toe-tappin’ to Tanya Tucker is welcome, and you’d better believe our boys’ll be there!

Ok, so now that we’ve worked through the FAQs, here’s a reminder/rundown of what’s going down in Cowtown!

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5TH

We will be kicking off the event on with Tanya Tucker playing a private concert just for the friends and family of DDR at Tannahills starting at 7 PM. The tickets will include dinner and drinks as well as access to our live fashion show that will happen before Tanya plays. Guests will be able to collect their swag bags at the DDR store at any time during the day.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6TH

Shop ‘til you drop at the store – fingers crossed, there may even be some trunk shows from our favorite jewelry designers – and then we’re takin’ over the rodeo! Well, technically just all of Section D (for Double D, get it?), but oh what a sight we will be filling up that section with all of us decked out in DDR! Tickets for this event will be sold separately from the concert, but at a discounted rate of $25.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7TH

We will be hosting our official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Fort Worth flagship store at ___a.m., followed by a celebratory champagne toast! Cheryl will be set up and ready to sign jackets and visit with customers throughout the day. As we get into the evening we will have our awesome friends the Ulmers, formally billed as 2Country4Nashville, set up and playing live music at the Spring Hill Suites Atico rooftop bar from 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets to this are also sold separately, but they’re just $25 and totally worth it – we’ll great entertainment, good food, and of course, drinks!

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8TH

It’s only appropriate we conclude this weekend of festivities by praising The One and Only that continues to bless us and make this all possible. We are looking forward to having 2Country4Nashville sing some gospel and listening to Stran Smith preach the Word! The service is tentatively scheduled for 10 – 11:30 a.m. before we all hug and head home.
