If Tanya Tucker’s resurgence on to the country music scene doesn’t have you feeling all the feels, you might want to check your pulse.
It’s been almost two decades since Tanya has put out an original album, or been in the spotlight much at all, for that matter, but she is back to show us that she is still the queen of Country she’s always been.
Her collaboration with Grammy winner Brandi Carlile on her new album, While I’m Livin’, is nothing short of poetic perfection. And the mutual adoration and respect between the two is damn near palpable. As is the nature of the beast, Tanya’s album release means she’s got to play the press game and it appears that the heavy hitters of media outlets are more than eager to offer air time to this legendary lady and her contemporary counterpart.
As if our hearts weren’t already swelling just to have this salty songstress back on the radio, Tanya’s tour through New York City has been outfitted almost entirely in Double D Ranch. Take a second to let that sink in – we definitely had to. This absolute icon, the woman behind the voice that was the soundtrack to our adolescence, is donning OUR outfits on a national stage. It’s still hard to wrap our heads around.
She was first photographed with her team on the streets of the Big Apple dressed in the Curios Top & Kimono and Django hat.
She was interviewed on The Today Show wearing Twisted Western with Brandi Carlile and then performed Bring My Flowers Now.
Tucker along with Brandi Carlile and band performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon decked out in her turquoise Winslow Jacket which she shed there at the end to reveal her Space Cowboy top.
Friday night, she popped up on Brandi’s social media donning the Derrickman Overall and the Round-Up Rosie top at album release of The Highwomen album in Philadelphia.

And y’all, this friendship is just getting started. You can expect to see more of us on her and more of her in us. Tanya Tucker is an inspiration, to say the least.
