DAUBIN’ WITH DOUBLE D: A NIGHT OF BENEVOLENT BINGO
We are very much looking forward to our very first Spring Show in Round Top – pretty sure we said yes to every style show there is! – and as the new kids on the block, we are eager to put our best foot forward and really nestle into the community in an earnest way. What’s more wholesome than some good old-fashioned BINGO? Well, doing it for a good cause, of course!
On Saturday, March 22nd, we are hosting a night of benevolent BINGO benefitting the Washington County Senior Center, which supports the citizens of Round Top and the surrounding communities. It’s going to be a great time with REALLY great prizes, many of them are valued at over $1,000 – we’re talking biker jackets and Oscar Betz earrings, ladies!
“Audrey really let us go all out for this one, so y’all better show up!” Cheryl laughed. “Of course, you know our team is going to do it up right – if we know one thing, it’s how to put on a party! We’ll have pizza and drinks and then several rounds of BINGO down under the pavilion, and HUGE prizes – things we’ve never, ever given away before – and then at the end of the night, we’ll hopefully be able to write a big ol’ fat check to the Senior Center!”
“Times are tough all over,” Audrey added. “And in these small towns and rural areas, there just really aren’t a lot of sources for support for these community programs, and they’re important. So hopefully, this is a way to make a positive impact and show the people of Round Top we’re really happy to be here.”
Ok, so here’s how it’ll work:
Tickets to the event are $200, which gets you dinner, two drink tokens, a DDR dauber, and 10 BINGO cards – which means 10 chances to win some fabulous prizes. BUT, if you want to double your odds (and up your impact for the senior center), you can purchase a second set of 10 cards for $100 in addition to your ticket, which means you’ll be able to play TWO cards per round. AND, because everyone loves an encore, you have the option to also add a $30 MEGA card for the opportunity to play in the BONUS 11th Round with the biggest (and most special) prize of all!
The day of the event, you can swing by the Round Top store (Building 3 in The Halles) between 5:30 and 7p.m. to grab your cards, your dauber, and your drink tokens. Then, you’ll head down to the pavilion where they’ll be serving dinner and drinks and the BINGO games will be held. (We’ll start calling numbers at 7, so make sure you’re in your spot and ready to daub by then!)
Y’all, it’s going to be really fun and it’s for a great cause, and it’s a good excuse to get on over to Round Top and shop all the cool stuff that’s available in their spring market!
