We’ve all been spending a lot of time at home lately, and building our nest has taken on a whole new priority.

“Pillows are hands-down the most requested and sought-after items in our home collection,” Cheryl said. “It’s been a little while since we’ve designed and created a whole line of them, but everything kind of aligned for a new collection of pillows to come to fruition this fall. The demand is there and part of our focus lately is to maximize the life of what we create, so we were able to reimagine some of our custom fabrics into a variety of accent pillows.”

From throw pillows to euro shams to the latest home furnishing trend – oversized floor pillows – we are excited to offer this new array of high-quality décor that allows you to extend your style to your surroundings and bring the premier western lifestyle to your home.

But pillows are just the beginning.

“Well, our most exciting recent endeavor, at least in my opinion, is the chairs we’ve been redoing,” Cheryl said. “We were talking among ourselves, saying, ‘You know, we have this abundance of very cool, very unique, very Double D fabric, and there are a whole number of ways we can be using it that we haven’t really explored.’ And when we made our custom fabrics available by the yard, direct to consumer, we even suggested using it for upholstery, so we took our own advice. We went on the hunt for vintage chairs with good bones -- in good condition, with good shape -- and gave them new life. They’re simply gorgeous.”

We did some subtle and chic, like a pair of sleek armless chairs in a custom serape with a suede seat. And with some, we went bright and bold -- hello, Sunday’s Best chair! -- with a vibrant “Capri Pink” Annie Sloan-painted frame with a colorful custom serape embellished with a hand-embroidered Native American profile. Showstopper.

“And while we were at it,” Cheryl said. “We thought, ‘Why not make a few that complement this collection? Yellowstone has that cabin-y feel that lends itself to home decor.’ And they were an even bigger hit than we anticipated. I’ll have to ask Audrey, we may not even have any left! But there will definitely be more; we always have our eye out for vintage frames we can reclaim.”

We designed collection-centric chairs in two distinct designs. The Yellowstone Roundup chairs bring a more western vibe; they’re classic wooden armchairs in a warm brown stain with a leather seat and a back that we’ve recovered in the collection’s custom camp blanket fabric, embellished with a hand-embroidered bronc rider. The Elk Country chairs have more of an upscale elegance; they have a sleek armless silhouette, a leather seat, and the back features that same gorgeous suede and same intricate beading as the Elk Country pieces in the collection. Stunning.

So, what d’ya think? What should we do next?

I have ordered some of your beautiful fabric to recover some antique dining chairs. I just loved the fabric I selected from DDR. Wish me luck! Sandi in Virginia
