Audrey and Bob Ross (the Joy of Painting) have a saying in common:

It's your world, you can do whatever you want.

So when I sidetracked from designing the collection one day to creating a fictional newspaper, that is exactly what Audrey told me,

it's your world!

"Women's Gazette West" is my interpretation of an 1872 ladies magazine, complete with editorials, fashion advice, gossip, and advertising.  Published in Yoakum, Texas at 5¢ a copy, it touts: "Serving the Fashionable Women All the News That's Fit to Print".

Enjoy! I did.

Lisa Martensen dazzled us once again, capturing the essence of this collection and creating a look that’s “green and gritty” – yet totally glam!
