WHO’S THE NEW GIRL?

You’ve probably noticed that in addition to the familiar faces you’ve grown to love, the Eloise catalog has a fresh face in the mix. It’s our pleasure to introduce you to Quisha Matthews! Believe it or not, this stunning beauty is a hometown head-turner that we discovered underneath the Friday night lights.

“We stalked her at a football game,” said Hedy, bluntly. “We really did. It must’ve been a playoff game or something, because I don’t think we had any kids playing still. Audrey and I elbowed each other, like ‘Who is THAT?! She’s beautiful!’ We couldn’t stop staring at her, and then we were basically just following her around the stadium. She went to the concession stand, we went to the concession stand. Everywhere she went, we were just *patter patter patter* right behind her. Finally, we introduced ourselves and we got to talking and asked her if she wanted to work with us. And she said she would. She probably didn’t know what she was getting herself into! But we’re glad she did, she’s such a unique beauty and just in unbelievable shape.”

Quisha is a native Texan, born and raised in our little town of Seguin, and as a matter of fact, she was a bit of a Seguin superstar in her school days. In high school, Quisha and her volleyball teammates took the Matadors to the state championship for the first time in the history of the program! In addition to her lifelong love of the game, Quisha also really loves music and being in front of the camera. We think it’s safe to say, the camera loves her back!

While this may be her DDR debut, it’s not her first foray into modeling; she was formerly featured on the wildly popular improv comedy sketch show Wild ‘N Out with Nick Cannon on MTV. (If you haven’t heard of it, your kids probably have; it’s been on for nearly two decades.)

Quisha admits she wasn’t really familiar with Double D Ranch before she was approached by the McMullen sisters, an interaction she comically recalled from her side of the encounter.

“I met the three lovely boss ladies and was first introduced to Double D at a high school football game,” she shared. “I was standing with my family after and a game, and this group of ladies kept staring at me. I turned to my mom, like ‘I wonder why the hell they keep looking at me!’ Finally they ended up coming up to me, and I think it was Audrey that spoke first, she told me I was beautiful and that they’d love to work with me. I gave her my number, and here we are!”

See? We told you – we were obsessed with her and not even a little bit subtle about it! With her first photoshoot in her pocket, we wanted to know what she thought of the crew.

“I absolutely love working with them, every single one of them!” she said. “The [models] are dope, they were amazing teachers for me. The sisters make you feel like you are family immediately. And Mitchell, is just Mitchell… LOL!”

Well, that all tracks. And what did she think of the clothes?

“Almost all the pieces I put on, I absolutely love,” she said. “Things I never even thought I would like, but they’re beautiful!” 

And so are you, girl! While her primary focus is currently on real estate, and her three beautiful babies, Da’moni, Ma’leigha, and Amias, you haven’t seen the last of Quisha in DDR. 

“I hope the audience loves me, and I hope to keep working with Double D for years to come, just like Kaylin and Lozzie!”
