The second installment of our Scrapbooks collections was inspired by our great-great-grandfather (on Eloise’s side) as well as the legacy of the ranchman in general. It’s cattlemen couture. It has strong Western vibes with an old school, authentic feel. The colors are earthy, the prints are personal – we’re literally wearing our roots on our sleeve! – and we really, really think you’re going to love it.
Join us on Facebook on Tuesday, September 6th, at 7:30 p.m. Central for a line presentation of the Walker collection with the McMullen sisters – and a few special guests! We’ll debut the new collection with insight into the inspiration, wearing and pairing tips, and of course, a little sister silliness. Oh yeah, and giveaways! Don’t forget to RSVP to the Facebook event to be entered in the drawing to win all sorts of Double D goodies and make sure you tune in because you MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN! See y’all then!

I believe this is my favorite collection also. I would buy most all of it if I had the jingle & bills to do so. I have loved western since I was a little girl and Annie Oakley was my heroine. I lived in Ohio, and she was born there in North Star near Greenville. I had to do a report on a famous Buckeye, so I chose her. My 6th grade class and teacher loved it. I did much research and the lady director of the Garst Museum in Greenville Ohio invited my family down to see the Annie collection. With white gloves on, I had the religious experience of holding her dress and a gun, etc. I thought I had died and gone to Heaven. So now I live in KC, have lived in the west; love dressing western and being in historical re-creation groups. So, DDR, you rock my world!

~ Back in the mid 70s, I attended the Fashion Institute Of Technology (Parsons School of Design’s rival :), and graduated with a 2 year Associates Of Arts Degree (that’s all they had back in the day). My professors pushed on us students what was happening in the European Design Market but it never resonated with me. I grew up with the classic westerns and fashion, so that’s what I adopted when I found DDR in 2012. A few years later, I finally found my aesthetic: Double D Ranch. Your brand resonates with me—blending well with everything in my cowgirl closet. When I’m in my Double D, most people here in WV have never seen anything like it. They want to know about my boots (Old Gringo Belindas, DDR Midnight Cowboy), my Backwoods Barbie Sky blue biker jacket, etc. I don’t dress like everyone else; preferring to rock my own aesthetic. In my late 60s, I enjoy standing out in a crowd, not blending in (boring). I am honoured to represent DDR in the Mountain State of West VA. ~

Pre-Ordered the Walker Saddle Tramp Jacket after seeing it featured in your magazine ad and looking forward to receiving yet another awesome Double D Ranch garment. One can never have too many!
