The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo takes place from February 12th to March 1st this year, with all the pomp and circumstance you’ve come to expect from a major Texas city rodeo. We’re here to help you get ready!

“Obviously, ‘rodeo’ is the umbrella,” Cheryl said. “And if you’ve been in Texas very long, you know it’s a whole extravaganza in whatever city is hosting it – the pre-events, and the fair, and the rodeo, and the concerts – it’s a whole thing. And the coolest part, is that every city has its own personality, and I think that’s reflected in the rodeo. That’s a perk of them being staggered; you can go to Fort Worth, to San Antonio, to Houston, and go to what is ostensibly the same event, but have a whole different experience. And different outfit!”
So, before you start stuffing your suitcase for San Antonio, here are a few looks we’re loving for the Alamo City.
Girl, get in on this jumpsuit already! Reviews are telling us it’s aces in terms of cute, comfy, and compliment-getting. And there are so many ways to make it your own! Layer it with a henley if you’re wanting to wear it open, throw on a jean jacket if you’re looking to add some color, and we’re not going to twist your arm, but this is a great piece to give double- or triple-belting a go! Any boots are a win with this look, but how can you resist the Cattleman Boot for a rodeo? Top it with some turquoise, and you’re all set!
Go ahead and bring that ‘old money equestrian’ vibe to the arena! The “butter booty” Bandit Pants are a 10/10 always, and you pair that with the silky Ada Blouse and the irresistible Riding Habit Jacket from Nu Rodeo? People are gonna think you own the place! Some statement sterling silver accessories and a one-of-a-kind handbag and you are nothing short of rodeo royalty.
Planning to come early and stay late? We’ve got you. Pair the Chrome Blouse and the Chrome looks-like-a-broomskirt Pant for a chic top-to-toe look with a Western flair. Top it with the High Tail Jacket and slip on some Nicole Boots for a look that’s elevated, yet extremely comfortable. Accessorize with some dainty turquoise for daytime or statement silver for a more dramatic evening vibe.
