What’s old is new again.
Spotify is all fine and well for road trips and workouts, but nothing compares to the clicks and pops of a 45 spinning under a needle. And people of all generations seem to be realizing it. From the original hippies to the new-age hipsters, everyone’s got a hankering for vinyl these days. Maybe it’s the old school novelty of it, maybe it’s the classic and comforting image of sleeves neatly lining a shelf, or perhaps the music on some of those vintage early pressings not only sounds better, it IS better. Whatever the reason, the search for and sale of vinyl records and players has seen a dramatic uptick in recent years, and we are all for it.
