Last night, we sure made philanthropy fun – and dare we say, we made bingo by far the most glamorous it’s ever been!

“I know what people picture when they hear BINGO,” Cheryl laughed. “This was NOT that. This was very much not that! The décor and set-up was next level. The DJ was incredible – shoutout to Claire [Kiser] who recommended him from her wedding. And the guests! Let’s just say, they understood the assignment – y’all looked fantastic! Thank you to everyone – our team, our donors, our sponsors, and most of all, our attendees. This was probably the most magnificent bingo has ever been.”

Y’all, this balloon display… *chef’s kiss*! It was impressive without being imposing and just the ultimate wow factor, complete with some balloons painted like bingo balls and a lit DDR in the center. Tastefully draped streamers stretched end to end, beautiful blue custom DDR bandana tablecloths were complemented by centerpieces of hydrangeas and sunflowers, and as an exquisite added touch, all the prize packages were displayed silent auction-style which really upped the anticipation. Our DJ Phil kept all the country music classics coming and the ambiance was ideal.

It was really a night beyond words, so we’ll let the pictures do most of the talking, but we do want to say a truly heartfelt thank you to everyone involved. You cannot imagine what an undertaking this event was, an all-in endeavor across multiple departments from design to marketing to retail. They put the perfect touches of DDR on every little detail, right down to the DDR daubers that came inside the cute custom souvenir zip pouches. Our ever-popular emcee, Mitchell Franz, put on another pitch-perfect performance with his signature highlights of hilarity. And as always, we’ve got to give it up for the McMullen Sisters and everything they do – and show up to. They have four fashion shows in the span of a week (not to mention being on the heels of the remarkable Cowgirl Rising launch they just executed), and still mustered the energy and offered up the resources to host a charitable event right in the middle of it all. Kudos, all the way around.

Another enormous thank you to our Round Top neighbors who contributed to our prize packages: Bug in The Box, who donated a gorgeous framed monarch butterfly; famed photographer Fatima Donaldson, who provided a $450 credit for a 16x20” wrapped canvas featuring winner’s choice from her Women of the West series; and of course, Jim of The Halles, who graciously donated a two-night stay in the DDR-designed Casita! Oh! And Blue Mule Winery donated a bottle of wine to each game’s winner! Y’all please check them out and show them some love.

And finally, thank all of YOU! To tell you the truth, we were hesitant when we did the math for the tickets, thinking “Will people pay $200 to play bingo?” But we quickly came to the conclusion, “We have the best customers with the biggest hearts, they’ll *get* it. They’ll do it for charity.” And we were right, y’all showed up in a spectacular fashion! We don’t have the final numbers yet (the event wrapped just hours before this article had to be published), but we know we raised a worthwhile amount of money for the Washington County Senior Center that will make a significant impact – and that’s what it was all about. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Ok, ok – enough of the praise and pomp, on to the PICTURES!
