We've searched high and low and found a clear favorite: bumble bee jasper. But where does the stone come from? And how easy it is to shop for? First things first, bumble bee jasper is pretty rare because it's only found in one location on earth, Java, Indonesia. It's mined by locals from the side of an active volcano called Mount Papandayan, so we think that makes it pretty special straight off the bat. This unique gemstone is yellow or orange and sometimes has black stripes running through it that look like, yes you guessed it, a bumble bee.
