…and the s’mores.
It’s funny how the world standing still made us all sit still for a moment. And in the end, maybe that wasn’t such a bad thing.

…and the s’mores.

If you ask your children what some of their favorite childhood memories are, or reflect on some of your own, they likely weren’t expensive or extravagant. They were camping trips in the woods, they were popsicles in the front yard, they were trips to the lake or the mountains. It was simple, quality time, when everyone was in the moment, making memories. It’s never too late and you’re never too old to get back to that.
Pitch a tent. Hang a hammock. Play a board game. Unplug. Unwind. Reset.
Take the time to take the time.
Looking for a fresh take on the old favorite? Try Candied Bacon S’mores, recommended by our very own Jack Matusek. They’re a super simple and yummy flavor combo!
Graham cracker + dark chocolate + marshmallow + candied bacon = DELICIOUS!
How do you make candied bacon, you ask? Easy.
Coat some strips of bacon with brown sugar, place on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet, and bake in a 375 – 400°F oven for about 15-25 minutes, until the bacon is crispy. Transfer to some paper towels to cool, and boom… candied bacon.
