A light field jacket.It can go over top of almost any outfit, and if your journey takes you anywhere with altitude, you can count on an evening and overnight chill.
Tees and jeans.This should really go without saying. The mix-and-matchability of your favorite basics can turn a handful of garments into dozens of outfits.
Worn-in boots.An adventure is not the time to break in a new pair, but boots are the ultimate travel companion. They’re durable, protective, easy to slip on and off, and if you’ve got a good pair, they’re the most comfortable footwear you own – why would you explore in anything else?
A hat. Not only is it a great accent to everything else we’ve told you to pack, but also, if your journey leads you outdoors, your hat has you covered. (Plus, it’s an excellent quick-fix if your hair isn’t adjusting well to its “vacation”.)
