The 1970s celebrated a lot of things – the end of the Vietnam War, America’s 200th birthday, the invention of the Walkman – and Southern Rock was the soundtrack to it all. From Gregg Allman to Stevie Nicks to Cher to ZZ Top, music was the common ground where we put aside political parties, and just had parties.
With the war in the rear-view and the Bi-Centennial feeling ubiquitous, Americans were falling in love with America again. This sentiment of the mid-70s is the essence behind the summer drop of Double D Ranch’s Southern Rock collection: I’m with the Band. Retro graphics and faded red, white, and blues embody a patriotic-chic, with a touch of rocker glam evident in embroidered florals, studding, appliqué patches, and tassels. This release features one-of-a-kind embellished western style, and is an absolute must-have for the young-hearted festival goer.
