2024 is already here and many of us will have made big plans and dreamed up great goals for the year ahead. Feeling like you're already going to fail? We feel ya, and we're here to make sure that doesn't happen. Forget new year, new you - we're all works in progress and once you take the pressure off yourself, you'll find things flow much easier.

So here are our top three tips for staying on target in 2024. Read on to find out how you can really keep to those resolutions…

Get down to the finer details

What is your 2024 goal? To get fitter? Happier? Healthier? While these are all great things to aim for, they're far too vague. To really make sure you succeed this year, break down what you really want. Rather than saying you want to 'be fitter', set out an achievable goal, like 10,000 steps a day. Or instead of 'being happier', how about agreeing to meet with friends and loved ones at least twice a week. Whatever you decide on, plan out the exact steps it will take to get you there. Break these down into monthly, weekly and daily rituals so you can build change into your everyday routine. You'll quickly see results!

Don't give up, even if you slip up

If you go off track for a day, or two, (or even a week) don't just throw the whole resolution out. We know it can be disheartening to feel like you've failed at something, but it's never too late to start again. Remember, resolutions are about making positive changes not drastic transformations, and it's better to try, fail and try again, than to never try at all. One thing about DDR women, we always get back on the horse!

    Reward yourself along the way

Whether it's going on a diet, trying a new workout routine, quitting a bad habit or taking up a new hobby, resolutions can be hard to stick to, so when you do succeed - reward yourself! For every week that you achieve your goals make sure to celebrate. Make a note of the date in your diary and feel proud of yourself. Treat yourself to your favorite drink or take yourself out on a dinner date. Celebrating your achievements as you go makes resolutions all the more exciting and a special reward makes you much more likely to persevere even when things get tough.

Good luck Wolf Pack! You got this.
