‘Tis the season for company cocktail parties, jingle mingles, and festivities with friends. It seems like every other day in December, there’s some sort of holiday event on your social calendar, and that begs the question: what in the world to wear? Well, fret not – we’ve assembled a few outfit ideas to ensure you show up chic, no matter the tone of the soiree.

“One of the best things about Past & Present is that it’s redefining holiday dressing in a way,” said Cheryl. “It’s so rich and decadent that it feels festive without being trite. It’s not your kitschy Kelly green and ruby red that comes to mind when you hear Christmas, but it still feels celebratory and in the spirit of the season – especially if you top it with a fabulous fur, then ANYTHING is a special occasion outfit!”

Here are a few chic looks to outfit you for different types of invites.

    FOR THE FANCY FESTIVITIES

Say you’ve got to attend an upscale office party or perhaps a festive fundraiser, and the word on the street is that you should dress to impress… make an entrance in maxi velvet and full-volume fur. The See the Stars Dress is unforgettable in oxblood – it reads like royalty – and pairing it with the black Long Tall Sally Boots adds a different dimension of drama. Go all in on the jewelry and then finish it off with the black Charlotte Jacket for that extra oomph that really makes an entrance.

    FOR THE SEMI-CASUAL COCKTAILS

Silk is always a sure bet; you can easily dress it up or down, but it always gives off an aura of intentional effort. We paired together the Ada Blouse and the Ada Skirt (both in tobacco) for a sleek, chic base, and then topped it with the Western Point of View Jacket (in mineral) for a counterbalancing complement of both color and texture. Slip on a pair of brown Long Tall Sally Boots and you’re all set to stun the room as you sip and socialize!

    THE SOMEWHERE-IN-BETWEEN SOIREES

Let’s say it’s a get-together with your gals and you want to look fabulous, but overdressed just isn’t the vibe… girl, you already know we’re going to tell you to bust out those “butter booty” Bandit Pants! You absolutely cannot go wrong rocking the black Bandit Pant with the Rainbow Corn Blouse, and of course, adding the black Hondo Vest takes it to a whole new level. Finish the look with the black Cattlemen Boot and you’ve got a 10/10 ‘fit for just about anything on your agenda!
