The event consists of a gala and live auction Thursday evening, followed by a fashion show and luncheon on Friday, and it raises money for a handful of children’s charities that are near and dear to the hosts.– CureDuchenne, Dell Children’s Medical Center, HeartGift, Just Keep Livin Foundation and The Rise School of Austin.
Needless to say, with hosts like those three, the guest list was guaranteed to be impressive.
“There was a lot of star power in one room,” shared Leeann Wenske. “Obviously, the namesake hosts were there, which was cool. Reba McEntire was there – I don’t think she ever ages, she looked great – and she added her unique drawl to the whole production. Jellyroll took the stage after the auction, so that was really fun. Oh, and Presley got to meet Vince Young, which she’s still swooning over.”
It was a night of big names and big donations – one of the auction items went for $1.3M! What a way to show up for the kids!
We were thrilled to have some wonderful guests join us for the evening, our beloved Kathleen Burnham, and the always amazing Elliotts, Andrea and her husband Jerritt. (We’ve said it time and again, but we are so lucky to have customers we genuinely adore, admire, and are excited to be around!)
The night was full of fun, philanthropy, and of course, fabulous fashion.
“I would’ve gone just for the outfits alone!” laughed Leeann. “Of course, everyone had a Western vibe, but also like cocktail/eveningwear, so I loved seeing how everyone interpreted that and put together a look.”
