Y’all, we truly outdid ourselves last week. It was an orchestrated effort with a lot of key players, so we’re not just being self-congratulatory, but the events in Denver with the Women of the National Western far exceeded our expectations – and believe us, they were high.

“We committed a lot to this endeavor,” admitted Audrey. “A lot of man hours, travel, prep… so, that always makes you a tad more anxious about how it’s going to go. But I think by night one, when we started meeting people and feeling the mutual excitement, we were put at ease that this was going to be a really great event.”

And it was! A quick recap for those not in the know: last week, a good chunk of our team traveled up to Denver to be a part of an extraordinary event with the Women of the National Western, facilitated in large part by a long-time friend of DDR, Angela Lieurance.

“It's always been a dream of mine to share Double D Ranch with friends here in Denver,” said Angela. “It exceeded anything I could have hoped for! The clothes were stunning; but the experience and the sense of community that were created was the real star of the night!”

What was initially an idea for a fashion show evolved into a two-night event, with night one being an exclusive opportunity for committee members and VIPs to essentially come sneak-peek the racks that would be walking the runway (along with a few fun extras).

“Night one was everything we could’ve asked for,” shared DDR marketing manager Leeann Wenkse. “Everyone was so welcoming and excited for Double D to be there, which generated really great energy that carried throughout our entire time there. I think my favorite part was watching ladies come out of the dressing room in DDR, and all the other women – some they knew, some were complete strangers – gushing over how incredible they looked. ‘You HAVE to have that!’ and ‘You look amazing!’ It was a contagious joy.”

Night two, Wednesday night, was the headliner – the whole reason we were there – the fashion show! The staging was elevated and on-brand, the execution was precise, and the talent was professional. And the fashion was, of course, extraordinary (*wink*); we showcased Atomic Ranch, sneak-peeked Wash House, and highlighted some of the forever-favorites in the Heritage Collection and Silver Label.

“What a well-done event,” said Mitchell. “I was all-around impressed with how the whole thing went, everyone we worked with – and met – were wonderful, and we’re grateful to Angela and the organization for the opportunity to be here. We were thrilled to see some familiar faces – we can always count on our Wolf Pack to represent – and it feels like we made a lot of new friends this week!”

“Let me just tell ya,” Cheryl interjected. “Those Mile High ladies look GREAT in DDR!”

I love the cream pants that Audrey is wearing…are those DDR pants? The fashion show looked amazing. My daughter and I are going to Round Top Oct 5th, hope to see you there and check out the new line.
