Feature: Badlands Peacoat
Last October we did a post asking you to send in design ideas.
We got some incredibly well-thought-out, fun, innovative and creative suggestions. One of my favorite bloggers, Cathryn, over at Farmer's Trophy Wife, proposed a classic peacoat and it got me to thinking.... Since Cathryn is known for fashionably sloshing around in rubber boots & Chanel at her husband's 3rd generation cattle operation in Canada, with two kids in tow and one on the way, I thought it would be perfect to do a 'Farmer's Trophy Wife Twist' to a classic coat shape. So, peacoat silhouette + "rural-ed up" mending and patches = the Badlands Peacoat.
All that's missing is lovely hunks of pearls and rubber Wellies - Thanks Cathryn!
