Whether you know him from his guitar work in

the Grateful Dead or the Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor named in his honor, Jerry Garcia is a colorful guy!

It's been said he is one of the original hippies, sitting alongside Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Janis Joplin. He alone ushered in the "tie-dye" movement making it cool to throw on a t-shirt with rad colors bleeding together like the chords coming from his Gibson.

For me personally, I feel akin to his thoughts on creativity,

....and for me there's still more material than 20 lifetimes that I can use up. - Jerry Garcia
