Beautiful! Now I see how you go from inspiration piece to the end product. Pretty amazing! Can’t wait to see what magic you weave with my inspiration piece!

Helen, thank you for your feedback on our Gandhara Cross & 101’s. I really like posting the 101’s because I have always wanted to be able to share the inspiration, background and history behind each piece. Before desktop publishing it was too cost prohibitive to print & distribute this information, but now with the blog it just takes a little time and I am able to share all of the little stories and histories of each piece. On an interesting note: I am getting emails from university professors that are using our blog 101’s to teach their design students about design/design inspiration/production. I think this is wonderful.
Again, thank you so much for your feedback and being a Double Talk reader!

Love the colors that you have chosen for this jacket. The colors of the cross with the teal really make it pop to show the intricate workmanship. Love the scalloping, and gathering as well.. Truly, a work of Art.

Enjoy the “101” History of the articles of clothing. Very informative and enjoyable to learn something new .

Love the detail on the jacket. The scallops are what set it apart above the rest. The colors are new and now and the cross design just makes my heart sing.
