    Elephantine

    February 25, 2010 1 min read 3 Comments

Today in Jaipur, India the local folk are celebrating the Elephant Festival -- a day completely devoted to the portly pachyderm. These ginormous beasts are groomed, draped and bedecked in luxurious raiment, jewels, and covered head to toe with vivid, hand-painted motifs. .
Thousand of people flock to witness this super-sized spectacle of decorated elephants, so if you can't make it to the Elephant Festival this year, Double D Ranch's â„¢ Jaipur Tee will make you feel like part of the Pachyderm Procession.
. . And after the Pachyderm Parade, the day would not be complete without watching a lumbering Elephant Polo match.
    There's a hunt for the ball....it can't be found!
