Fashion is glamorous.

This is so funny! And the models are so NOT Sisters on the Fly! Love it, love you.
May 16, 2016
I figured if I could put the bag lady in, then all was fair game.
May 16, 2016
Actually Hanna (the blonde) would fit right in with SOTF. She is from the Czech Republic, but loves Texas and her cowboy boots. Yall have got us all hankering for a trailer…I may be the next sister if I can find one!
May 16, 2016
This looked like a lot of fun beautiful goods, but no thanks to the cold weather……no way, no how!!!!! My partypooper…..bad.
May 16, 2016
SOTF and DD = good fit!
May 16, 2016
Lola, I think so too! Yall have me really desiring a cute camper….just not sure I could pull it and back it in. I never was good at which way to turn the steering wheel when backing up a trailer.
May 16, 2016
Martha, you’re right – the weather was horrendous. The girls were freezing, but at least we got to keep our winter coats on and they didn’t. Poor things.
May 16, 2016
great shots! gorgeouos colors and fabulous funky trailer! ;)
(go Nina!)
where/when can yankee’s see the finished product?
May 16, 2016
Cheryl – hook that trailer behind ya and it will follow. Great picks……Love it!
May 16, 2016
What a cute site! I LOVE the SOTF trailer choice!!! We are going camping this weekend in our little trailers to do some power shopping at First Monday in Canton. Sure wish I had one of those beautiful coats! Sister #252

Don’t have the exact dates on the catalogue or ads, but you will be able to see it here on the blog and our website. Stay tuned using the RSS feed feature. April, we would love to have you as a regular subscriber to our blog!

LaVerne, you make it sound simple. I on the other hand would take out trees, fences, curbs, mailboxes and just anything in a 10ft radius. I took out one of those Sonic order signs just the other day … and I didn’t even have a camper!
May 16, 2016
Lariann, I think we have a vendor in Canton. Look ’er up and have tons of fun camping! Also, we would love for you to become a regular subscriber to Double Talk…if you feel inclined please sign on the RSS feed and we will keep you posted when the finished trailer shots are available. Have fun in Canton and knock out that Christmas list!

Classic! I’m laughing out loud. Good to see you guys are still working with Lisa! Loved her sense of humor. Pics like these make me not miss my modeling days too much…;-)
May 16, 2016
Elsie, you would have been glad to have missed this one. It was absolutely the worst conditions. Cold, windy, rainy. Simply unpleasant and the poor girls were miserable.
May 16, 2016
oh shit, I look bad, and cold. that is soo funny seeing us all freezing our butts off! happy editing, lisa
May 16, 2016
did you see that Elsie commented on you? Same post, just an earlier comment. (look above)
Yes we are freezing – I think it was colder this time than last year in SA. Wet + Wind + Cold = no good.
May 16, 2016
Loved your trailer choice and sooo glad I renewed my subscription AGAIN.LOL. Sure would love to have a cute vintage trailer tee added to your line. (not that the vintage trailers arent hard enough find, as it is) Love DD-love Sisters-love vintage and trailers. Hope to see you in our caravan soon.Backing is Not a requirement. Theres always a helpful Sister around. Merry Christmas Linda

If Wendy can’t Photoshop the skirt into place, Colortek in St. Louis can.
Hi Lisa,
The last time I saw you we running through the Miami Airport together after shooting the kids’ book for JCP. Talk about going from hot to cold!

Paul – are you colortek? Send me your info. Thanks for stopping by the blog – be sure to subscribe to our RSS feed – c
May 16, 2016
Linda, hmmm you have given me a great idea. I’ll put that one in my thinker and see what falls out. Keep me in mind if yall come across a cool vintage trailer for peanuts and thanks so much for stopping by the blog.
May 16, 2016
Cheryl – Yes, I am Colortek. I sent a package to Susie E. some time ago. Last time I talked to her (before maternity leave) she said it was still on her desk. Doris L. may have it now. If you can’t put your hands on it, let me know and I’ll send another PDQ.
Paul
ps – I really like what you guys are doing down there!
May 16, 2016
Paul, thanks – I’m glad you like it. I will see about digging it up off Susie’s desk. It is a bit of a wreck right now since she has been out on maternity. If we can’t locate it, I will get with you to send another. btw: how do you know Lisa? We LOVE her!
May 16, 2016
Cheryl – In a previous life I was an art director for JCP catalog down in Big D, little a, double l, a, s. We used Lisa for hair and make-up on some of our Kids’ Books. The kids liked her because she wasn’t much taller than they were. We liked her because she was always fun to be around. I think one of my best covers ever was one that she worked on.
Paul

I agree, Lisa is fun and Groovy. She has been doing hair and makeup for us for about15+ years ( gosh has it really been that long?) She has such a terrific eye and she just “gets” Double D. btw: I checked on the package from you and Doris is not finding it on Susie’s desk. Can you drop me another? Same address but put it to my attention:

I have to agree that this was one of the worst weather days we have ever shot in. We were lucky enough to be close to the house so the girls could warm up a bit but the wind chill was horrible.
I would like to personally thank Cheryl for picking the best pictures she could find of me! thanks a ton sis! I have gone from being the model to #1 pooper scooper!Lisa, I still think the una bomber shoot was colder!
May 16, 2016
Thanks Cheryl. It’s on the way. I hope I get it to you soon enough. Due to the extreme conditions of shoot, I’m guessing y’all could use some help with your images. I’ll follow up in a few days.

Really enjoyed looking at all the colorful clothes, blankets, etc. photos. What a wonderful store this must be. My next door neighbor is from Yoakum and next time she goes “home” I am going to tag along just to visit your store.
The models were truly beautiful and the vintage trailer wasn’t bad either. I’m a new SOTF member and I encourage women all the time to join. It’s the greatest !!!
May 16, 2016
Funrider, where are you from and do I know your neighbor? I would love to hear more about your trailer. I am seriously thinking about getting one and joining up but trailer backing is still an issue. Thanks for your comment – we would love for you to sign up for to our blog RSS feed. xoxo cheryl
May 16, 2016
Paul, this time is too late; I have already sent photography out and am getting some back. Send your package anyway and let’s get together for the next go-round.
May 16, 2016

May 16, 2016
Thanks for your comments – Nina and Jewel were great….the weather wasn’t! Should have something next week for a sneak peek.
May 16, 2016
