We’re pretty partial to the petticoat aesthetic lately, and it feels especially authentic to the era and Victorian vibe we’re channeling with Born on the Bayou. This beautiful skirt is more intentionally outerwear than some of the previous petticoat styles we’ve debuted (this one actually has its own petticoat underneath) so it’s embellished with intricate eyelet that has irresistible charm. The silhouette features a fitted waist (with an elastic back for some give) that descends into a drop-waist gathered tier that gives it a full swing, finished with a stiff stitched hem for structure. There are endless ways to wear and pair this beauty – we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
