Pin, Zuni Inlay, Knifewing, Vintage, '50's, 497
THIS STATEMENT-SIZED PIN HAS VIBRANT STONES AND STRIKING SILVERWORK.
This gorgeous vintage Zuni pin is a colorful representation of the Native American deity known as Knifewing -- a spirit that is half man, half eagle with razor-sharp feathers; generally revered as the ultimate warrior. This depiction of the god consists of a flush inlay design using vivid stones of turquoise, red coral, black onyx, and shell, in tiny serrated bezels, accented with sterling silver drops, scrolls, and twist wire detailing. At 4” wide, it’s an incredible standout statement piece.
