This awe-inspiring vintage necklace is a treasure to be cherished. Attributed to legendary artisan Fannie Ondelacy, this traditional-style squash blossom begins on a double-strand of desert pearls, boasting 12 cluster blossoms of turquoise stones. A large naja featuring matching turquoise stones and intricate sterling silver work of drops and twist wire throughout finishes the piece. Each of the beautiful stones features its own unique matrix, and the craftsmanship is top tier. It has classic charm and highly collectible qualities, definitely the kind of piece that becomes a family heirloom.
Fannie Weebothee Ondelacy (1920 - deceased; Zuni). Cluster work; pendants; collar pins. She collaborated with husband Andrew Ondelacy. Sister of Lee Weebothee. Fannie Ondelacy shared the stamps with her husband Wayne Ondelacy.
Marks: F W O; F. W. ONDELACY; F. W. Ondelacy (script)
