A BASKET FULL OF HISTORY

The history of Native Americans is something that is best learned through their traditions and the tools that they used for everyday living. They learned to use the land and what it offered to them. Everything had a purpose and a place. Many Native Americans gathered a lot of nuts, seeds, and fruit to make meals or items they needed. To make this process easier they used natural resources to make products to help, like this seed basket. It is woven using plant fibers with smaller tops and bottoms to keep the items inside while still being able to access them. The wider center has a lovely chevron pattern and simple handles. Feel the history every time you look at this pretty basket.
