Don Ricardo (often marked "Ricardo") was a prominent American silversmith in the 1940s-1960s, known for producing high-quality, handcrafted Western trophy buckles featuring detailed engravings of cowboys, horses, and, specifically, bull-riding scenes. Alongside makers like Comstock and Bohlin, Don Ricardo was among the early, premier manufacturers of these, which became popular as rodeo prizes during that era.
