JiSan A. Lopez's Hispanic heritage and roots run deep in the Land of Enchantment where she still resides. She is a contracts attorney, and received her J.D., M.B.A., and B.S. degrees from the University of New Mexico. JiSan is also licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She values giving back to her community, and is a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Albuquerque and serves on the board of New Mexico Christian Legal Aid. She and her husband, Shawn, attend a predominantly African American church where they teach courses to help others become debt free using biblical principles. Shawn, a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, purchased JiSan's first Double D Ranch outfit, the Killa jacket and boots, for her birthday from Trudy at the Wild Rose and she has followed DDR ever since. JiSan joined the Cultural Council because she is passionate about everyone having a voice and being represented at the table. There is much to learn from others with different cultural experiences.
