This vintage beauty by the renowned Simplicio family of Zuni artisans features  an inlay depiction of a horse head in profile.  Crafted from mother of pearl and shell, set in a squared serrated bezel, accompanied by a freeform turquoise stone and fluted silver drops. A unique statement ring with rugged Western charm.

Mike Simplicio (1937 - 1976; Zuni). Active 1950s - 1970s. Nugget work; appliqué. The late Mike Simplicio shared marks with his wife Sarah Simplicio. Son of Dan Simplicio.
