If you’re committed to doing your best James Dean, you oughta have our Wildcatter Hat. It should go without saying that this topper was inspired by the actual one Dean wore in the movie; I mean, does it not give you instant flashbacks to all the iconic photos of JD in it?
We started with this very 1950s-era classic silhouette, and took some creative liberties in roughing it up with a little grease and oil and dirt to give it a lived-in and well-loved look to make it ranch ready. Then we adorned it with a traditional grosgrain hatband and a strip of distressed cornflower blue calico for that “been wearing it forever” kind of feel. We’re mighty proud of how it turned out, and we hope donning it inspires you to become the “Giant” you were destined to be.
