BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL
A vintage cowgirl classic, this belt was crafted by artist Carmelo Patania. The vintage leather strap is detailed with a patterned stamp design that gives it unique character and charm. The real star of the show though is the turquoise stone that sits proudly at the buckle's center and bordered with a double mustache repousse bump outs.
Carmelo Patania (1902 - 1999; Anglo). Brother of Frank Patania. Carmelo “Pat” Patania worked at Patania’s Thunderbird Shop for many years, beginning in 1928. He opened his Cachina Shop in 1959 in Tucson, AZ and retired in 1980. Various motifs, including animal designs.
