It’s always fun to see how others are styling their DDR, but it’s a particular treat to see what the leading ladies of Double D are picking from each collection.

It goes without saying that for as much as they have in common, each sister has their own distinct go-to style. Cheryl’s is hard to categorize but somewhere in the realm of retro-runway-eclectic, Audrey leans toward the more crisp and classic, and Hedy will unabashedly tell you she dresses for comfort. But this go ‘round, they all had something in common – let’s just say, they all chose to *dress* to impress.

CHERYL McMULLEN – firstborn daughter, Creative Director, insatiable collector & seeker of backstories

“When I saw this vintage print, I knew it was the foundation for a collection. We tweaked the design and colors a bit and put it in this flirty dress silhouette and BAM - it is rockin’ retro!”

HEDY CARTER – middle sister, Director of Production, endless source of quick-witted salty humor

WEARING: Hard Luck Dress (in mahogany)

“Well, it’s a ‘Hedy dress’, of course, it touches me at the shoulders and nowhere else! This one really is super comfy, plus it’s covered in horseshoes, and you know I’m a sucker for those – horseshoes up to catch the luck!”

AUDREY FRANZ – baby sister, CEO, master cake baker & expert olive skinner

WEARING: Route 66 Dress (in black)

“I am in love with the silhouette; it really has a dressy feel while still being so comfortable. It’s such a classic style, and I know it’s something I’ll wear and enjoy for many years to come.”
