We first introduced embracing this hue in the Atomic Ranch collection, highlighting its golden vintage charm, which is the same reason it makes it relevant in Roughneck Rodeo, but the color has remained prominent for several seasons, from the runway to ready-to-wear. Its understated elegance pairs effortlessly with white, beige, denim, chocolate brown, and soft gray, lending versatility that works in both sophisticated and casual looks. That, paired with its ability to transition seamlessly between spring, summer, autumn, and even winter collections, has cemented its status as an essential color and a no-brainer for your wardrobe rotation.
The shade will continue showing up strong from high-end couture to more affordable everyday apparel, as well as handbags, footwear, and accessories of all sorts. (See “Butter My Biscuit” blog for tips on how to shop for jewelry that complements the color.) We experimented with it in an array of fabrics for this collection, ranging from denims to velvets to leather – coincidentally, even a pair of our Bandit Pants that we’ve long dubbed the “butter booty” pant for their smoothing, flattering nature.
Whether you want just a dab or to be dripping head to toe in it, we promise there’s a way to make butter work for you.
