The term “neutral” tends to evoke images of greys and beiges and blacks, but in fashion, what defines a neutral is that it goes with everything; that it works, no matter how you wear and pair it.

To Double D Ranch, turquoise is a neutral.

“There are many factors contributing to what makes turquoise so ubiquitous,” said Cheryl. “One, is that it’s so versatile that it can go from rough-form nugget necklaces to ultra-polished cabochons that are set alongside diamonds. Another is the spectrum of hues that naturally occur in turquoise; from baby blues from the Sleeping Beauty Mine to deep rich green shades from the Royston, you can complement such a wide range of your wardrobe. Think of it as a chameleon color.”

We’ve said it for years, we even wrote it into our mission statement: we believe turquoise goes with dang near anything.
