GAMEDAY LOOKS GO NEXT LEVEL

Double D Ranch devotees have undeniably great style all year round, so why would we sacrifice that on Saturdays in the fall?

You’ve probably realized that some of the things in your DDR wardrobe already work for your respective school’s color scheme, but for the first time ever, we’ve created a handful of designs particularly with college game day in mind.

“Well, it started with the Dobie Jacket,” Cheryl explained. “It was just a classic suede jacket that happened to be a somewhat burnt orange suede embellished with longhorns. We didn’t really do it on purpose, but we did think maybe Hedy or Audrey could wear it to football games with their kids. Then someone commented on an Instagram photo of it saying that Matthew McConaughey needed it for gameday, and it sparked an idea.”

Turns out, there was more demand than we thought. The more we talked to customers and even just family and friends, it became apparent that maybe we’d all like to look a little nicer than the old printed tees and nylon jerseys every Saturday.

We created some luxurious suede jackets and leather barrel pants in three distinct colors – two that are awfully close to burnt orange, maroon, and then a bold black that will work really well with scarlet accents out in West Texas. We also styled a few pieces that are a little more universal that are going to work for UT game days. (We had to! Austin is basically in our own backyard!) And then we got pretty intentional with the West Texas Draw Jacket/Vest, the Spur ‘Em Jacket/Vest, and a vest version of the Dobie Jacket that started it all.

“We had to start with the ones that’ve been requested the most,” Cheryl said. “Texas Longhorns, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M. But who knows, if it goes well, maybe we’ll get some more gorgeous Baylor greens and TCU purples in the future! And listen, these are just specific designs we’re releasing, if you’re creative, we have gameday gear for everyone – plus, we have Sonoras in every color under the sun, particularly a purple that would be perfect for a Horned Frog!”
