We’ve filled up your closets, we’re all over your home, and now, thanks to a very cool collaboration with Boot Barn, Double D Ranch now has a presence in another part of your life: your big day!

The recently released bridal capsule, “Gone to Heaven”, was a joint creative effort between DDR and Wonder West by Boot Barn. The limited edition run of wedding-themed outfits and accessories features things like a blinged-out white denim jacket spelling out “HITCHED” in rhinestones, a sheepskin reception-ready miniskirt with rhinestone fringe, a stunning statement belt with a pearl and crystal-encrusted buckle, and some chic white cowboy boots. And of course, a little something blue – some lovely aquamarine creations from Peyote Bird Designs.

“Boot Barn actually approached us with the idea, and it’s something people have been asking of us for years,” Cheryl explained. “It was a really fun collaboration, it’s only a handful of pieces, so not technically a ‘collection’, but I think even in just those limited pieces we captured an aesthetic that will appeal to a variety of brides. And maybe it’s not even for the wedding, you know, these are amazing, unique, head-turning pieces for your rehearsal dinner, your reception, and c’mon, how fun would rhinestone fringe be for a bachelorette? Isn’t everyone having theirs in Nashville now anyway?”

While the idea wasn’t originally ours, the timing sure did work out fortuitously for our family! As you probably know from social media, Walker Franz, the absolutely darling son of our CEO Audrey, proposed to the super-sweet and stunning McKenzie Pierce earlier this year, and we may be biased, but she absolutely rocked the skirt in their engagement photos. (Alongside some amazing Oscar Betz earrings – can you even?!)

We are undeniably enamored with these beautiful bridal pieces, but this definitely isn’t Double D’s first trip down the aisle! You gorgeous gals have been creatively incorporating your DDR into wedding looks for a long time, and just recently, one of our Wolfies said “I do” in Double D TWICE!

“I was legally married at the County Clerk’s office on November 7th, where I wore the Double D Ranch Luciana Dress,” explained new bride Jenn Foster. “My real wedding day was 11/11, but our officiant, my husband’s uncle, didn’t send in his paperwork in time to be considered legal to perform the wedding, so we had to improvise at the last minute and get married officially/legally earlier in the week. Then, I chose the turquoise Segovia Boots for what I consider my actual wedding day. I had them picked out before I even decided on my dress! They were perfect, my something new and something blue. I love boots and these were the best choice of Western/fashion combo to go with my turquoise jewelry and dress.”

Well, we are doubly honored, Jenn – and you’re right, they were perfect!

And hey, wedding day fashion isn’t just for the brides! At her August 27th wedding in Marathon, Texas, style sister Callie Rios did her bridesmaids a solid by choosing a dress they actually WOULD want to wear again!

“I’ve always loved the look of Double D & bridesmaids dresses are usually so basic,” Callie said. “I wanted something with a flair, and these dresses took the cake! I’ve been wearing Double D for quite some time; I like my clothes to stand out and be different, and you can always count on Double D for that. I unfortunately didn’t wear any Double D, my gown was custom made by Tony Hamawy of New York. Maybe Double D should consider a bridal line?”

    Funny you should say that…
